Volunteer opportunity

The Brunswick Youth and Community Centre is looking for volunteers for their garden project.

The aim is to build a sustainable garden at their base in Marsh Lane, Bootle.

If you are interested in this volunteering opportunity then pop along to their Garden Open Day on Wednesday, 21 March between 12noon and 2pm.

There is going to be homemade soup and a roll.

This is the Year of the Volunteer in Sefton and there are many wellbeing benefits of becoming a volunteer. It fulfils at least two of the Five Ways to Wellbeing in that people who volunteer connect with others and their local environment as well as having a sense of giving something back.

For more details contact the Brunny on 0151 922 3552.
